Got handed "the change management"? Here's your plan.
A step-by-step workbook and plain-language guide for anyone leading the people side of a change without a change team, a consultant, or a certification.
Six steps, in order
"Can you handle the change management?" No budget, no training, and a go-live date that isn't moving.
Projects fail more often from people than from technology. The system launches, and then people work around it or quietly go back to the old way. This kit helps you prevent that, one clear step at a time.
Everything in one workbook. Plus a guide to walk you through it.
Change Snapshot
Twelve questions that define what's changing, why, what isn't, and what success looks like in 90 days.
Impact Assessment
Rate how much each group's work changes and how ready they are. Priorities calculate automatically.
Stakeholder Plan
Track where each leader stands, where you need them, and which gaps to close first.
Comms Calendar
A proven 12-message sequence. Enter your go-live date and every send date updates itself.
Training & Support
Plan what each group needs to be able to do, and the support they'll get after launch.
Readiness + Adoption
A 19-point go/no-go check with an automatic recommendation, and a tracker to prove the change stuck.
The Accidental Change Manager guide
Plain-language how-to for every step, the most common mistakes, words to borrow for announcements and pushback, and when to call in help.

A status view that fills itself in from your workbook, ready to paste into a steering update.

Hi, I'm Ada.
For twelve years I've led the people side of change in federal agencies, global companies, and universities. I hold a master's in industrial-organizational psychology and I'm certified in change management (CCMP, Prosci).
I built this kit for the people I kept meeting on projects: smart, capable, and handed a job no one trained them for. It's the practical version of what I'd do in your seat. Need more than a kit? Email me.
Do I need change management experience?
No. The guide explains each step in plain language, and the workbook does the math for you.
How long does it take?
Plan on 4–6 hours spread over the first two weeks, then about 15 minutes a week to keep it current.
What kinds of changes does it work for?
New systems and tools, process changes, reorganizations, new policies, and office or schedule changes. For changes involving layoffs or union negotiations, bring in an experienced practitioner.
What format are the files?
An Excel workbook (.xlsx) and a Word document (.docx). Both open in Microsoft 365.
Can I reuse it?
Yes. Use it for as many changes as you like within your organization.
Can I get a refund?
Because it's an instant digital download, all sales are final. If a file won't open, email me and I'll make it right.
